PC Kay Allan

As the youth engagement officer for Blyth Neighbourhood policing team my role is to engage and work with the young people living in Blyth.

I work closely with staff from all of the area's 14 schools in promoting, advising and implementing communtity safety schemes specifically aimed at young people through education. I also support the school staff in Blyth in dealing with incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour.

My role is to improve communication and our relationship with the young people in Blyth through organising activities and projects.

My aims are to try and reduce victimisation, criminality and anti-social behaviour within schools and our community. And to identify and work with young people who are at risk of becoming victims or offenders.

I am keen to build close ties with the people who live and work in Blyth so please do get in touch if you have any policing issues you wish to bring to my attention. Use the 'Contact me' link on this page to send me your thoughts about policing in this area.
