The Blyth School Under 19s are Champions!

The Blyth School Under 19s finished the 2009/10 season as league winners.

Since September The Blyth School’s Sixth Form Football Team have been completing in the Northumberland Senior Schools League, they have been training and competing on a regular basis playing against well established high school football teams from all around Northumberland.
The team had its final league game of the season on Saturday 24th April against Churchill Community College, we won the game 1-0 which secured Blyth the league championship in only our second season in the league.
They have been a pleasure to work with this season and have been a credit to the school in every game they have competed in.
The team has consisted of players from three different year groups (Year’s 11, 12 and 13), the people who have represented the school are:-
Todd Musgrave, Daryl Pentleton, Steven Greenshields, Robert Oates, James Arkless, Jack Patterson, Liam Gillesphey, Robert Ridley, Callum Scott, Duane Dunn, Harvey Bariana, Dean Simmons, Adam Green, Eoin Ridley, Tom Barton, Dale Tweedle, Connor White, Chris Watson, Ricky Cardill.
Callum Scott and Steven Greenshields went onto represent Northumberland Under 18 Schoolboys this season, which also is a excellent achievement for them both.
