Birds of Prey at Croftway!
Children in Key Stage One enjoyed a wonderful afternoon when they were visited by The Bird of Prey Centre at Beal.
They were shown three different owls by Juanita and Kara, who explained how and where each one lived, what they ate ( to the disgust of the children!) and how they fly.
This visit stimulated a wealth of ideas and some brilliant non- fiction writing by the children.
