On behalf of the children, staff and Governors I would like to welcome you to our school and our newly designed website.

Our new website aims to keep you up to date with and give you helpful information about our school vision, general organisation and activities.  We also want children, parents, our wider community and new visitors to have a window into all that we do and are so proud of here at Newsham.

Our main aim is to provide high quality teaching and effective learning experiences for every individual in school.  Equally, we continue to employ new technologies and innovative, practical strategies to ensure that our children are thoroughly engaged in exciting activities from the beginning to the end of their school day.

We pride ourselves on an outstanding level of care, security and emotional support for all our children at Newsham Primary School.  Our friendly and approachable staff team ensure that we promote a happy, safe and enjoyable environment in which everyone can flourish.  This ethos is reinforced by all members of our school community.  Our children are highly motivated, well behaved and truly delightful to teach!

If you are new to Newsham, please don't just take my word for it!  I am always delighted to spend time showing parents and children around our new school and talk about our vision for learning, approaches to school life and parent partnership.  Please feel free to visit our school, ask questions and find out for yourself why I think we are the right choice for your child.
